Benedictine abbey, built in 778, the Sainte Marie abbey can pride itself on being the oldest caroligian abbey of Catalogne. The Roman church with three naves, protects a large 18th century Schmidt organ. The gothic cloister from the 13th century is next to the church.
In the church courtyard, a holy tomb, 4th century sarcophagus, has been mysteriously secreting clear water since the time Saint Abdon and Saint Sennen’s relics were put there.
