ABIES LAGRIMUS
Regarding
Created in 2013, ABIES LAGRIMUS has made it possible to safeguard and revive an ancestral recipe from the Pyrenees: Fir Syrup.
Made from the cones and buds of the Abies Alba fir tree, harvested by hand in the high mountains at altitudes of over 1700 m, we produce our products in our workshop in Sahorre, in the heart of the Catalan Pyrenees Natural Park.
Packed with essential oils, oleoresins and polyphenols, fir syrup is as good for your health as it is for cooking. We have been certified organic since 2015.
We offer a full range of unique and original products: fir syrup, fir vinegar and balsamic cream, fir pepper, fir liqueur, and our sweets Pépites du Canigou and Canigo Pop lollies.
Today, our products are used in France and Europe by many of the world's top chefs, and can also be found in numerous delicatessens.
The workshop can be visited out of season by appointment and on fixed days in season.
