On the foothills of the Canigó, high in the Llentillà valley, this route tells the story of Baillestavy and Valmanya. However, throughout history, it has been iron mining that truly shaped these two villages. One of the mines has been dated to the 6th century BC, making it the oldest iron ore exploitation in France.
