AQUARIUM DU LABORATOIRE ARAGO

After a complete overhaul, the Aquarium has entered a new era, in tune with the aspirations of its time: promoting local living heritage, respecting the well-being of animals and presenting major environmental issues. Nearly 300 species emblematic of the Catalan coast (grouper, seahorses, jellyfish, coral, etc.) live in settings designed to represent natural environments as faithfully as possible.
More than just an aquarium, this is a real scientific journey, with interactive displays for young and old and a range of activities.
Thanks to an original incursion behind the scenes of the Oceanological Observatory's research laboratories, it offers an experience never before seen in Europe.
