CASA DE L'ALBERA MUSEUM

Located in the heart of the village of Argelès-sur-Mer, the Museum Casa de les Alberes has been managed by the town since 2003. It houses a museum of popular arts and traditions exhibiting a collection of tools and everyday life implements dating from the 19th and 20th centuries and a Catalan library. It offers conducted tours of the town and beach. The town, the owner of the collections, buildings and an old barn situated close to the museum, has decided to restructure the whole group. The objective is to give Casa de les Alberes a regional and transborder purpose and turn it into an interpretation centre of the Albera Massif.
