CASTELNOU CASTLE

Just 20 minutes from Perpignan, Château de Castelnou is a must-see symbol of the medieval era in Roussillon.

The history of the Château vicomtal de Castelnou dates back to the 10th century, and it remains one of the most archaic examples of a medieval fortress in the Pyrénées-Orientales.

During your visit, you'll have the chance to discover our permanent and temporary exhibition(s) and a breathtaking view over the entire Aspres valley from the panoramic terrace.

- Self-guided tour of approximately 1 hour (Château + Botanical Trail) accompanied by a tour guide and an audio guide available on your smartphone or tablet at the site reception desk.
- Augmented Reality tour on the history of the former owners from the contemporary era vi the REAL ILLUSION application.

Guided tours every Tuesday at 11.45am and Sunday at 11am, 2pm and 4pm.
