The Castle-Museum is dedicated to recent prehistory. These archaeological treasures (unique in Europe) shows daily activities of Neolithic man 6000 years ago. These archeological discoveries were done in the Belesta Cave (ornaments, tools, weapons, pots including 30 pieces intacts).
In 2017, a new space is created and dedicated to Charles Rennie Mackintosh, scotish architect and painter that used to live near Belesta.
