Regarding

The château de Fenouillet is the only one in the département to have served as a refuge for heretics during the crusade against the Albigensians. After the Treaty of Corbeil-Barcelona in 1258, it was not transformed into a royal fortress like the other so-called "Cathar" castles. The ruins of the feudal castle can be seen here.
From the heights of the castle, there is a panoramic view of the village, the Saint-Jaume gorges and the Sabarda tower.

Free admission, open all year round (interpretation panels).
