DOMAINE DE L'EDRE

Located on the foothills of the Corbières, the Domaine de l'Edre covers 10 ha in Vingrau.
Mediterranean influences, the north wind: the Tramontana, clay-limestone soils, altitude and varied exposures create an alternation of freshness and sunshine allowing complex, fruity and balanced wines to be produced.
Domaine de l'Edre was created in 2002 with the aim of producing excellent wines. Green work, low yields, plot selections, manual harvesting in boxes and refrigerated trucks, strict sorting in the vineyard as well as in the cellar and long macerations quickly enabled them to obtain numerous rewards.
Jacques Castany and Pierre Laporte are Catalans passionate about their profession and enthusiastic about the exceptional terroir on which their vines grow.
