DOMAINE MAS CREMAT

The Domaine du Mas Crémat, located in Espira-de-l'Agly, flourishes in the heart of the "Côtes du Roussillon Villages" appellation, along the Agly valley. The estate's vines are grown organically around a century-old building on black schist terroir. The family's commitment to sustainable viticulture is to be commended, as is the fact that they have obtained High Environmental Value certification to recognise the value of all their manual work in the vineyard, as well as the reasoning behind every stage of production.
The black earth (cremat means burnt) of its hillsides produces highly coloured wines, with dark ruby, liquorice and morello cherry hues.
For visitors, Mas Crémat offers tastings and tours at weekends, by appointment, in the estate cellar. The Jeannin-Mongeard family will be delighted to welcome you and tell you all about their history.
