We have no documentation on the initial construction of the church, but it has a Romanesque foundation. The central apse is the oldest part of the building, dating from the 13th century. It features a magnificent polygonal apse decorated with three Romanesque windows, gear teeth, columns and plant capitals. After collapsing in the 18th century, the nave was completely rebuilt in the 19th century, opening onto six chapels adorned with altarpieces and statues.
