Regarding

The church in Odeillo, which predates the village, is dedicated to Saint Martin. It was probably built in the 9th century in the Romanesque style.
From the Romanesque period, it has a beautiful sculpted doorway adorned with two capitals, as well as a door with iron fittings. In front of the door there is still an iron grille covering a pit, which was intended to prevent wolves and other wild animals from entering the church (which says a lot about living conditions at the time).
Inside the church, you can admire the beautiful altarpiece depicting the life of Saint Martin.
The building has been listed as a historic monument since 1910.
