The 17th-century church of St-Pierre is the town's most important monument. It was built on the foundations of a Romanesque church, of which the 12th-century Lombard bell tower remains today. The nave is flanked by 14 chapels. The high altarpiece, created at the end of the 17th century by the Catalan sculptor Joseph Sunyer, is the largest Baroque altarpiece in France.
