The church is rectangular on the outside. Inside, there are two twin apses, a very open chancel and five roughly square bays. It is 43.50 metres long, 8.30 metres wide, 10.75 metres high and 16 metres high under the key. Two doors open onto the south side: the smaller one opened onto the conventual buildings, which no longer exist, part of the cloister of which is reconstructed in the Toledo Museum (Ohio - U.S.A.). The other is the triple-arched main portal. Three magnificent marble columns frame the portal on either side. The capitals, which are all different, are decorated with subjects and stories. Inside the church, the columns are also topped by capitals, most of which bear foliage.
