The Counts of Cerdanya lived in Corneilla - Conflent and endowed its magnificent church. An Early 11th Century Romanesque steeple and a 12th Century facade and chevet adorned with sculptures are among its features. A former collegiate church and it still has 13th Century pews, three Romanesque virgins, a 14th Century liturgy case and an alabaster altarpiece by the great Catalan sculptor Jaume Cascalls, 1346.
