Cinéma Vautier and Espace Gavroche
Supported by the Cinémaginaire association, the "Maghreb so far so near" festival is getting a makeover and becoming the "Cinéma des Suds, si loin si proche" festival, opening up to all the Suds. This year's theme is land and water, with films, debates, exhibitions and the presence of actors and directors. Elne will have the honour of closing the Festival.
5.30pm: The Well - Water Voices from Ethiopia,
2011, documentary directed by Riccardo Russo and Paolo Barberi. An encounter with the Borana herders of Ethiopia and their "singing" well, a model of non-monetary water management for their herds.
6.45pm: Conference on the theme of water.
7.30 pm: Aperitif offered.
