On the foothills of the Pyrenees, the 11 hectares of vines of Mas Llossanes form a unique islet at an exceptional altitude of 600 meters. The vineyard, born in the 1940s, takes root on schist and granite arena soils.
Such a terroir endows its wines with great elegance, freshness and balance. Six indigenous grape varieties make up the mosaic of Llossanes: Carignan, Grenache, Syrah, Chenanason, Cinsault and Chasan.
The vineyard benefits from organic and biodynamic cultivation. We ban any product of chemical origin, and we harvest exclusively by hand.
In the cellar, we embrace the same philosophy, keeping sulphites at a minimum dose and limiting handling as much as possible. We give our wines the necessary time to mature.
All these technical choices make it possible to best express the personality of this magnificent terroir, without ever wearing it out or masking it.
