Regarding

On a rocky balcony facing the Canigou, Marcevol Priory was founded in the 12th century by the Canons of the Holy Sepulchre, a monastic order linked to the conquest of the Holy Places. The three-aisled Romanesque church features a geometric façade and a portal decorated with pink Villefranche marble. Overlooking the valleys of Romanesque Catalonia, this place of pilgrimage opens its doors to visitors for an introduction to Romanesque art.

November to March: the church is open to the public. Visits on request.

Guided tour on request (every day except Monday), minimum 10 people.
