Perched on the hills above the resort of Les Angles in the Pyrenees, with sweeping views over Lake Matemale and the forest, the L’Azimut holiday cottage – awarded 2 ears of corn by Gîtes de France and the Famille Plus label – offers a simple and friendly welcome.
It comprises seven bedrooms sleeping two to three people each, with shared bathroom facilities, a lovely lounge with a wood-burning stove and a relaxation area (library, games), as well as a south-facing terrace. Laurent serves up delicious home-cooked meals here.
The entire gîte can be hired on a self-catering basis (for a weekend or a week, on request). Nearby: skiing (slopes starting right from the gîte), snowshoeing, hiking and mountain biking — so you can make the most of the resort’s activities in the heart of the Pyrenees.
