JONQUERES D'ORIOLA VIGNOBLES

Situated between Perpignan and Collioure, Château de Corneilla was built in the 12th century by the Knights Templar. Today it is run by Philippe and William Jonquères d'Oriola (26th and 27th generation of winegrowers), a name that has made this Catalan region proud with the various titles the family has won in the world of sport. Producers of white, red and rosé wines and vins doux naturels, 17 references in all. The wine estates and olive orchard cover 100 hectares of cultivated land and extend over 5 appellations in Roussillon. The family also produces an Extra Virgin olive oil with the "Agriculture Biologique" label. The opening of the wine tasting and sales cellar in the centre of the village of Corneilla-del-Vercol has given the family a new lease of life.
