Regarding

The Romanesque church of Saint-Laurent-du-Mont is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful architectural treasures of the Argelès mountain. Built in one go during the 12th century, Saint Laurent became a parish church and served the many farmhouses nestling on the hills.
In 1939, the building was used as a shelter for Spanish refugees fleeing the war. For a time it was converted into a sheepfold. It has recently been returned to its original purpose. This very welcoming site is an excellent place for a walk. The chapel is managed by the Ermitages d'Argelès association.
