The route you are taking links the two villages of Fontrabiouse and Espousouille, which have now become a single commune. At a small pass (Col de la Creu), there is a lovely view of the two valleys, each with its own charm, particularly the U-shaped Vallée du Galbe, a valley of glacial origin.
