Boulangerie Le Couvent, in Ille-sur-Têt, is a true family story. The transmission of Henri Poch's know-how began with his son Quentin, who "fell into the kneading trough as a child" and now works as a baker alongside his father, whom he brilliantly assists.
The family business goes against the grain of traditional bakeries: in an exceptional setting (the former Convent of the Franciscan Friars), steeped in history and surrounded by nature, the artisan bakery is accompanied by the Bakery School. Henri and Christine POCH set up this school to pass on their know-how and passion for the bakery trade, offering professional training courses for those wishing to improve their skills or retrain for a new career, run mainly by Henri Poch.
