The Casa Pairal museum takes you on a journey through the history of the town and Roussillon, from the earliest settlers to the present day.
You can discover its ethnographic and popular Catalan arts and traditions collections as you explore its exhibitions. Your visit ends at the summit, with a 360° view of the Roussillon plain and surrounding mountains. The museum is housed in the Castillet.
This ancient gateway to the town has been a listed monument since 1889. It is one of the symbols of Perpignan and Catalan culture.
The Casa Pairal is a social museum, also known as the Museum of Popular Catalan Arts and Traditions. Conceived as a reflection of northern Catalan society, it takes on all the symbolism of the place in which it is housed.
