THE FOOTHILLS OF THE CANIGO - THE FORCA REAL LOOP

From the orchards of Ille-sur-Têt to the vineyard of Bélesta, there are so many things to discover during this hike! The imposing bell tower of the Sant Esteve del Pedreguet church, the famous fairy chimneys of the Orgues d’Ille-sur-Têt, the Bélesta prehistory museum or the boundary markers of the Treaty of Corbeil of 1258, this loop mixes history, geology, local biodiversity and amazing viewpoint on the Canigó massif. This loop is part of the Canigó foothills eco-route. As this route is little shaded, we recommend the periods from April to June and from September to November.
