The Maison de la Réserve de Nyer was built in 2007.
It houses a permanent exhibition dedicated to bats. Reserve staff have been trained to welcome the mentally handicapped, and special tours are organised.
Both the House and the exhibition have been designed to accommodate all types of disabled visitors. The natural and cultural riches of the Nyer reserve have been presented in the form of tactile models.
The exhibition is both tactile and audio.
