This museum shows 350 m² of permanent exhibition: rare or disappeared animals of the Eastern Pyrenees, many bird species, great mammals, fauna, arthropods, crocodiles, minerals and corals, Oceanian and African ethnological objects. You can also find an Egyptian mummy from the XXIII dynasty in its sarcophagus, offered by Ibrahim Pacha in 1847 after a thermal treatment in Vernet-les-Bains.
