Regarding

This superb palace dominates the city from the top of its promontory.
Located in the heart of Perpignan, the 13th-century palace was the centre of the short-lived Kingdom of Majorca for almost a century.
The palace was the brainchild of James II, who wanted a residence in the mainland capital of his kingdom.
The castle was begun before 1274 in late Gothic style and completed after 1300 in Gothic style.
The sumptuous chapels reflect the refinement of the period and Perpignan's status as the economic, political and cultural centre of the medieval Mediterranean.

Take advantage of your visit to the Palace of the Kings of Majorca to discover the "Art and History of a Catalan Jewel" exhibition, produced in partnership with the Institut du Grenat de Perpignan, as well as the immersive "Illuminated Gardens" exhibition.
