Regarding

The Tourist Information Point and its multimedia library, where adults and children can relax, are located in the centre of a mountain village with a family-friendly winter sports resort, nestling in the heart of a preserved natural heritage. The village has preserved the memory of its history, with its old stone houses and heavy rounded "Lloses" roofs. The former capital of the Capcir, its Romanesque church with its tympanum bell tower was consecrated in 873 and houses a magnificent 11th-century Christ statue. The King of Majorca (12th and 13th centuries) appreciated Formiguères for its cool summers and the beauty of the Lacs des Camporells, and King Sanche of Aragon made it his summer residence.
