"Prades and music through works in the permanent collections
The aim of this exhibition is to highlight the deep connection between the city of Prades and music, through the works in its permanent collections. In particular, it aims to offer an artistic view of the Pablo Casals Festival, one of the city's major cultural events, as perceived and represented by artists such as Antoni Ribas and François Branger.
The exhibition is also an opportunity to discover the city's new acquisitions, in particular works by Gustave Violet, a key figure in regional art at the beginning of the 20th century.
Through this selection, the public is invited to explore how music, heritage and the visual arts intertwine in the cultural history of Prades.
