The refuge is currently undergoing renovation work and has a reduced capacity of 15 beds.

A staffed refuge located in the commune of Taurinya, a small village at the foot of Canigó, accessible from the last car park (Mas Malet, 4½ hours) or Col de Millère (3½ hours).

During the winter months, the refuge is not open to the public – not even as an unstaffed shelter – due to the building works. The nearest refuge is La Jasse, about a 20-minute walk away, which sleeps four.
