Regarding

Access from the Formiguères’s ski station, or from the Galbe or Lladure valleys.
Placed on the Carlit massif, at the foot of the Péric peaks, the Camporells ponds are a Classified Natural Site. It is an authentic high mountain site, with striking beauty. The Camporells forest is classified as a heritage forest, for the quality of its species and for its biodiversity.
The emblematic animals of the Regional Natural Park frequent the places by periods: the eagle, the bearded vulture, the griffon vulture, the chamois, the marmot. Don’t worry, there are not wolfs and bears in summer! Ponds are also popular by fishermen.
Access is physical, without being excessive: on foot, from Formiguères ski station, the Lladure Valley, Bouillouses Lakes or the Galbe valley.
