GR®P TOUR OF THE NATURAL RESERVES

This route is the least traveled among the GR® and GR®P trails of the Pyrénées-Orientales—and yet, it is worth the detour! Over five wonderful days, in the heart of the Conflent mountains, you will encounter the diverse landscapes, flora, and fauna of the four natural reserves of Nyer, Mantet, Prats-de-Mollo-la-Preste, and Py, as well as the Catalan Pyrenees Regional Natural Park. From small villages to mountain refuges, from deep fir forests to vast bare high-altitude plateaus, in search of abandoned mining sites or agro-pastoral activity, nothing will leave you indifferent—especially not the ever-present Canigó!
