Regarding
The towers of Cabrenç are a medieval defensive complex dating from the 11th and 13th centuries, on the boundary between the communes of Lamanère and Serralongue. It consists of a signal tower, a fort and the seigniorial castle. The tower is part of the network of signal towers in the Kingdom of Majorca. It was linked to the Tour de Mir (Prats-de-Mollo-La-Preste), the Tour de Cos (Le Tech) and the Tour de Batère (Corsavy). The fort and its curtain wall, known as the Tour Médiane, housed the garrison. Situated on a rocky spur, the castle of the Lords of Serralongue is in ruins. It was dynamited on the orders of Vauban during the revolt of the Angelets de la Terra. The site can be reached on foot from Lamanère or Serralongue along signposted footpaths, which require 3? to 4? hours' walking.
It was listed as a Historic Monument in 1988 for the median tower and the ruins of the castle, and in 1994 for the north tower.
