ARBORETUM VILLAGE

Vernet-les-Bains, France's first Arboretum Village.
Here, the village and trees intermingle to such a point that it was natural to bring them together under a new term "Arboretum Village". At present, more than 2,000 trees of 320 different species are identified and listed.
You can discover all these species by yourself thanks to note cards that are available at the tourist information office or in season, during accompanied tours. There is also a book listing all the species present in the village on sale.
Fun and educational walks are organised in season, departing from the tourist information office on Wednesdays at 4 p.m.
