A journey into the industrial past: the layout of the factory, the trades, working conditions, anecdotes from everyday life… This tour helps visitors understand the social and human significance of the dynamite factory in local history.
In hot weather, the tour is replaced by a virtual tour: a fun way to discover the factory’s history. Stay cool in the steam plant building (No. 10: Discovery Workshop); ask at the site reception for details.
Guided tour on the theme of history, by booking only. Tours depart at 10.30 am and 3.00 pm.
