VIA FERRATA DE LLO LES ESCALDILLES

Located near the village of Llo, gorges of the Segre and baths of sulfurous warm waters, the progression is along a steep cliff (El Lladre) over a length of 800m for a vertical drop of 259m. Two routes are possible including an easier variant (classified AD) that will allow less experienced Ferratists an easier route. From the beginning, a footbridge located above the forest road of the Gorges du Segre allow you to admire a marvelous landscape. The progression is then on the side of a rock, by a succession of vires and verticals, until the historic site of San-Feliu, where stands a Romanesque chapel being renovated. The return is via marked trails and then through the picturesque village of Llo.
