Archaeological digs reveal various objects and even tell us how each one was used!
If you feel like it, attend one of the museum’s day workshops to learn survival techniques used in prehistoric times. Become a prehistoric nomad hunter and learn the art of making fire, hunting animals and using wild plants!
Visit the Tautavel cave
The more adventurous among you can head for the Caune de l’Arago, where Tautavel Man lived, a long long time ago. It’s easy to understand why prehistoric man chose this ideally located cave. Overlooking the nearby valley and close to a water source, it makes a strategic observation point from which he could track animals.
Come and explore one of the most important prehistoric sites in the world. Indeed, over a hundred human remains and thousands of objects, tools and animal remains have been found in this cave!
