Regarding
To discover the abbey of Saint-Martin-du-Canigou on its eagle's nest in the heart of the Canigou massif, you need to take up your pilgrim's staff. When the abbey appears at the end of the path, the visitor is overwhelmed by the beauty of the site. The bell tower adorned with arcatures, the abbey church and the vaulted crypt make the abbey a jewel of the region's early Romanesque art. Enthusiastically restored in the 20th century, it has been entrusted by the diocese to the Catholic Community of the Beatitudes since 1988. Masses and services are open to all.
