It was during an expatriation to Madagascar that Christiane and Alain discovered the benefits of Spirulina, this "seaweed with miraculous virtues" used to combat malnutrition and nutritional deficiencies.
After a career spanning 30 years, this was the catalyst that led them to become involved in the sustainable, ethical and socially responsible production of extraordinary foods.
They took a training course in Spirulina cultivation through the "Fédération des Spiruliniers de France", and chose to set up a farm on a human scale in a charming corner of nature in the heart of the Pyrénées Orientales, at TORREILLES, where the climate is ideal for the growth of this microalgae.
