CHATEAU LAURIGA

Swept away by Tramontane wind, the vineyard is located on the Pliocene hills typical of Aspres terroir whose sand-laden filtering soils quickly regenerate. Remarkably, part of the vines of Lauriga is found on old steps with very stony ground, in the form of rolled pebbles that warm up quickly and of which the ancients always appreciated the benefits. The diversity of its terroir allows the elaboration of a subtle palette of wine. Château Lauriga makes it a point of honor to respect the environment by preserving biodiversity and the people who care for the vines. Originally it was called «Laurinya» This ancient terroir is located in Aspres, in Thuir, cradle of Byrrh. Its vineyard of 60 hectares around a renovated farmhouse and a cellar adapted to modern winemaking techniques make Lauriga a domain and wines of reference and quality.
