DOMAINE BOUDAU

Domaine Boudau is a family story that dates back to the beginning of the last century. Véronique and Pierre are the heirs at the helm of this beautiful vessel which sails on two seas (because there was indeed the sea in the past): Le Clos, 23 ha on the first foothills of the Corbières and the Terrasses, 27 ha on the Baixas plateau. The soils are mainly clay-limestone but of different altitudes and allow the Boudau family's favorite grape variety to express itself wonderfully: Grenache noir (more than half of the grape variety). The opening of the estate (already famous for its VDN) towards the production of dry wines in Côtes du Roussillon 25 years ago, thanks in particular to its famous old Grenaches, was a success. The conversion to organic will soon be the consecration for this area regularly hailed by great tasters. The 2020 vintage is the 1st certified Organic Agriculture vintage.
