Regarding

Domaine Boudau is a family story that goes back to the beginning of the last century. Véronique and Pierre are the heirs at the helm of this fine ship, which sails on two seas (for there was indeed a sea once): the Clos, 23 hectares in the foothills of the Corbières, and the Terrasses, 27 hectares on the Baixas plateau. The soils are predominantly clay-limestone, but at different altitudes, allowing the Boudau family's favourite grape variety, Grenache noir (more than half the vineyard), to express itself to perfection. The opening up of the estate (already renowned for its VDN wines) to the production of dry Côtes du Roussillon wines 25 years ago, thanks in particular to its famous old Grenaches, was a success. The conversion to organic viticulture will soon be the crowning achievement for this estate, which is regularly acclaimed by leading wine tasters. The 2020 vintage is the 1st to be certified AB.
