When Jean-François, driven by a passion for vines and wine, took over the estate from grandfather Fernand Cadène in 1988, he decided with his wife Laurence to rehabilitate the estate as a private cellar: the Rière-Cadène estate was created in 1994 Since then, Jean-François and his wife Laurence harvest and vinify in the purest respect of the soil (sustainable agriculture) while managing their exploitation in a dynamic way. They are constantly evolving thanks to a certain know-how towards optimal quality. Strongly aromatic and remarkably fruity, fine and elegant wines.
The Rière-Cadène estate extends over 26 hectares of vines where Muscat, black and white Grenache, Syrah, Macabeu blend together to sublimate pebble juice and turn it into nectar.
