LA DEVÈZE

The "Mas de la Devèze" covers an area of six hectares and has diversified to allow the freshness of the products and the taste of authenticity to be rediscovered. The products offered are chosen according to qualitative criteria. Agricultural production in this Mas is done using a technique that has been used in agriculture for twenty years: integrated pest management. This technique allows the farmer to adapt to the functioning of his local ecosystem and biological regulation mechanisms taking into account the protection of the environment as well as of health. The grower uses bumblebees in greenhouses, as pollination naturally replaces hormones and results in larger fruit, resulting in higher and better quality production. The producer also works with predatory insects which effectively fight against various pest insects responsible for the destruction of the products.
