Regarding
La Loge de Mer is one of Perpignan's best-known buildings.
Built in 1397, it was once a stock exchange and the seat of the consulate of the sea in charge of maritime commercial disputes. It forms an important heritage ensemble with the adjoining town hall, the square and its statue, and the cathedral a stone's throw away. It is one of Perpignan's liveliest districts, with several shopping streets running through it.
It is home to the city's tourist office.
