FranceRegarding
A space dedicated to the memory of the 475,000 Spanish refugees who fled Franco's regime at the end of January 1939. An educational scenography retraces their journey from the start of the Spanish Civil War to their confinement in the Argelès-sur-Mer concentration camp.
A memorial trail with explanatory totems starts at the camp memorial and leads to the "monolith", passing through the so-called "Spanish cemetery".
The Memorial has a temporary exhibition room.
