Starting from the village of Casteil, this is a lovely walk through beech and fir forests, and a guarantee of coolness in summer on the slopes of Le Canigó. On the way down, you will be able to see the Abbey of Saint-Martin du Canigó on its rocky outcrop overlooking the gorge through which the path leads back to Casteil.
