It was built in 1324 starting from a project of a church with three naves. Afterwards, in 1433, it was converted to a single nave.
The church only became a Cathedral in 1601.
Its architecture is typical of the Southern Gothic, a style particularly common in Catalonia during the XIV and XV century.
Classified as historical monument.
