Regarding
Dedicated to St Marcel, it has a rectangular apse with a semi-circular vault. Lombardy bands decorate the exterior. The nave is a single nave, originally vaulted. The vault was replaced by a wooden framework in more recent times. On the outside, it has a bell tower-wall with two cells located between the apse and the nave. Inside, the church has a rustic baptismal font and a 17th-century altarpiece containing statues of St Marcel, of course, but also St Sébastien and St Gaudérique.
The church of St Marcel de Flassa has now been definitively restored, thanks in part to the Serdinya-Joncet heritage conservation association. The choir vault has been painted, and half of the paintings are still visible. In particular, snail shells and fish scales, as well as part of an earlier decoration. In fact, there are 3 superimposed decorations, the second being made of yellow volutes surrounded by grey.
